The 2018 TK Conference is SOLD OUT!
EVENT DATE: October 23, 2018
The 2018 TK Conference is coming to Los Angeles on October 23, 2018! This one-day event, provides Transitional Kindergarten educators with a unique opportunity to hear and learn from experts in the field of early childhood education, obtain actionable tools that can be implemented readily in the TK classroom and share knowledge and ideas with other early childhood educators.
This year’s TK Conference workshop topics will revolve around tools to promote socio-emotional development as well as ways to support dual-language learners who represent 60 percent of children under 5 in California.
Due to interest in additional professional development, this year we’re extending the day and adding third round of workshop sessions to provide TK educators with added opportunities for professional enrichment. To view this year’s workshop descriptions click here.
This year’s morning plenary panel, will feature DLL experts Dr. Linda Espinosa, Dr. Laurie Olsen, Dr. Carola Oliva-Olson, and Dr. Marlene Zepeda. We will also hear from the American Institutes for Research on their latest TK study findings. This year’s plenary will be live streamed courtesy of our media sponsor, First 5 LA. Stay tuned for more information!
